- We used a 10.5lb turkey. The soy sauce really makes the juciest turkey ever! It took us 3 hours, on the dot, to reach the internal temperature of 165.
- Defrost 24 hours in the fridge
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine in a bowl 3tbsp of Chinese 5 spice powder, 3tbsp dark brown sugar (substitute with stevia if you are sugar restricted), 1 tbps red chili flakes, 3 cups soy sauce.
- Pour over bird in roasting pan
- Flip bird breast down
- Cook for 1 hour
- Baste
- Cook for 1 hour.
- Flip breast up & baste
- Cook for 30 minutes
- Check temp & Baste
- Cook 30 mins DONE @165!
